Summary of 2015 Seattle PaidaLaljin Workshop

This journal concludes my final reflection on 2015 Seattle Paida Lajin Workshop. Although it was 7 days long, I attended the last three days of the event due to my work schedule. Invited by the event organizer Yezi, I flew to Seattle for the first time. All my impressions on the city came from two romantic films “Sleepless in Seattle” and “When Beijing Meets Seattle.” Today, my memory about Seattle is more than the love stories, it ties closely to the people who are on their self-healing journeys.

Jakarta PaidaLajin Party at a Friend’s Home

At the party, a Singaporean shared his story wiht us. He had used a crutch for more than one year, because he was badly weakened after cerebral hemorrhage and could only walk staggeringly. Soon after doing Paida and Lajin, all his health problems improved, he can walk steadily as normal people do. He threw away the crutch. Wherever he goes now he does Paida and lajin!
