Heart disease and heart disease:
Heart disease and heart disease:
A clinical record of four months of being tortured in a British prison
On May 30, 2024, my roommate had just been sentenced and transferred to another prison, and the officer on duty sent a new roommate. After careful counting, this was the 11th roommate I had met in the British prison in the past year. He was a Vietnamese man, with a handsome face, but pale and sad. The officer on duty said that he didn’t know English, so he sent him to you because you were the only Asian in the prison. I said I didn’t know Vietnamese, so how could I communicate with him? Unexpectedly, this Vietnamese man spoke Chinese to me as soon as he opened his mouth. We were both amused and immediately greeted each other in Chinese. The officer on duty was stunned at first, not knowing what we were talking about, and then he was also amused, saying that he finally found a fellow countryman who could speak Vietnamese. I said we were speaking Chinese. He was surprised again, but immediately smiled and said that no matter what, someone finally talked to him, and he was saved.
As soon as the officer left, the Vietnamese guy started talking nonstop. His name is Tuan, he is 32 years old, and he has been detained in Area A for two months since his arrest. He has been tortured because he does not speak English. He cannot even call his relatives and friends. The difficulties of daily life and the pressure of the lawsuit are all piling up in his heart, but he has no one to talk to. He can only sit alone in a daze during the day and suffers from insomnia at night. It takes him two or three hours to fall asleep. He said he was depressed and almost crazy. Now he is in Area C, and finally someone talks to him. I chatted with him for several hours. This is the most I have spoken since I came to the UK, and I spoke in Chinese. How can he speak Chinese?
It turned out that when he was 18 years old, he was imprisoned for three months in Zhuhai, China for illegal work. At that time, to survive, he had to work hard to learn Chinese, and daily conversation was no longer a problem. Later, he went to Taiwan and Singapore to work for a few years, and gradually became proficient in Chinese. In addition, because his mother worked in Taiwan for more than 20 years and spoke Chinese fluently, his elder brother and younger brother also went to Taiwan to work and learned Chinese, so there was an environment of speaking Chinese at home. Unexpectedly, the Chinese he learned to survive in the Chinese prison that year could help him solve the problem of survival in the British prison. In fact, what surprised him even more was that the combination of Chinese and British prison opened the mysterious door of Paida Lajin for him.
The next day, when I was out for exercise, I had just finished “standing practice”, and a white guy came to me to treat his shoulder pain, because someone told him that this Chinese who stood in the stance could cure diseases. I briefly explained the principle of slapping and stretching to him, and he immediately wanted to try it. I slapped his right shoulder for about 5 minutes, and I had told him that he should bear the pain appropriately. When he raised his shoulders again, the pain in his right shoulder had been significantly relieved, but the pain on the left side was still there. At this time, another white man who was watching said that he had pain in his scapula behind, and he also asked me to slap. I slapped the painful point of his scapula through his clothes for about 5 minutes, and his pain was completely gone. Tuan witnessed the slapping process and felt it was magical. Not long after returning to the room, the guy whose shoulder pain had just been relieved brought exquisite cakes and coffee, which were luxuries in prison and had to be ordered from the weekly shopping. I immediately shared the results of the slapping with Tuan. Tuan said he wanted to learn slapping from me.
I immediately taught him to slap his elbows and accompanied him in slapping. Black “sha” (blockage) appeared in his elbows within a few minutes. I said this proved that he had a serious heart disease because this was where the heart meridian, pericardium meridian, and lung meridian were located. He said that the prison doctor had examined him and said that he was in good health. I laughed and said that he had problems not only with his heart, but also with his lungs. I took him to slap the back of his hands again. Not only did “sha” (blockage) appear, but it was also swollen like a steamed bun. I said this proved that he had problems with his stomach and intestines because the large intestine and small intestine meridians were on the back of his hands. Then I took him to slap his head and face, which took about an hour in total. I said that it was not enough to just learn slapping, and he had to learn English to survive better. Naturally, he was eager for me to teach him English. So that day, I started teaching him English from the 26 letters. He then realized that learning English was much more difficult than learning Chinese, especially pronunciation. For some reason, he couldn’t even pronounce S and X correctly. I was so thirsty when I taught him. We both felt that this was more difficult than learning slapping.
From then on, he and I took slapped our heads and faces for about an hour every day, studied English for two hours, and then we slapped on certain parts of our bodies for about 2-3 hours. We meditated after getting up in the morning and evening and before going to bed. In the rest of the time, I read and wrote, and he studied English and did exercises. He said that he had never had such a regular life in his life. In the next few days, we successively slapped und the knees, thighs, and calves. He had “sha” (blockage) almost everywhere, and it was mainly black “sha” (blockage), bag-shaped “sha” (blockage), and purple “sha” (blockage). It only takes a light slap for him, and a lot of “sha” (blockage) appeared in about ten minutes, and he asked to stop because of the pain. It takes a lot of force to slap me, and it takes up to 20 minutes to half an hour, but there is not much “sha” (blockage), mainly red “sha” (blockage) with a little black “sha” (blockage). For this reason, he had to slap me more vigorously, but often the skin was broken and bleeding, but there was no “sha” (blockage), but his palms were very painful, bleeding blisters or bleeding. Comparing pain, “sha” (blockage) and patting strength with each other every day has become the best form of patting teaching and discussion, because it is all carried out in clinical practice, which is the traditional master-apprentice teaching method.
I analyzed his “sha” (blockage) symptoms and said that there were “sha” (blockage) all over his limbs, which proved that all twelve meridians in his body were blocked, that is, all his internal organs were sick. He was skeptical and couldn’t believe that he had so many diseases. I said that your HC will naturally manifest your disease. “sha” (blockage) and pain are the most common HC, and many other conditions will also appear. Sure enough, his bowel movements increased, but what he pulled out was bubbles, gas, and slightly loose stools. One day he had diarrhea and his stomach and intestines were uncomfortable, so I slapped the stomach and gallbladder meridians on the outside of his calves, and sure enough, a lot of “sha” (blockage) appeared. The back of his hand was swollen. He immediately had loose stools and bubble-like loose stools, and the sound was very loud, but the stomach and intestines discomfort disappeared immediately. He then told me that he had frequent stomach and intestine pain and discomfort for many years. In the next two days, we focused on slapping each other on the outside, inside, and back of the calves. He had a lot of toad skin-like “sha” (blockage), especially on the stomach and gallbladder meridians on the outside. As expected, he said, the bitter taste in his mouth when he woke up early for many years was consistent with blockage in his gallbladder and stomach meridians.
Ellis, a black man next door, heard us slapping for so long every day, sometimes came to observe and ask questions, but never dared to slap. Until one day he finally came into the room and asked me to slap his shoulder, because he was in so much pain that he sometimes couldn’t fall asleep. I slapped his left shoulder for 5 minutes, and the pain was gone immediately. He immediately asked to slap his right shoulder, and the pain was gone again. Tuan saw the effect and was more willing to learn in depth. But he didn’t have the pain of other inmates, so he couldn’t feel the immediate effect. I said that although slapping is effective in reducing pain, these inmates slap for too short a time each time, and the root cause of the disease has not been eliminated, and they will relapse. Sure enough, Ellis came to me again to slap. But we only open the door for one hour a day to let people out for fresh air, because everyone has to take a shower, exercise, etc., so the time for slapping people other than roommates is very short. But Ellis has been in prison for 18 years and is very familiar with the duty officer. He was able to convince them to open the door and let me into his room to help him slap for half an hour before letting me go back to the room, because slapping is more effective than painkillers in relieving pain. The officer saw Tuan and Ellis slapping like they were addicted, so he curiously asked them if it was really effective. They both said it was very effective, so the officer asked more questions and said they would slap after they got home.
To express his gratitude, Ellis often sent me some delicious canned food, biscuits and the like. One day he sent me a small radio, and I fixed the channel to Classic FM. From then on, when Tuan and I were slapping each other, there was classical music accompaniment. Tuan had never heard classical music before, and this music was very different from the pop music he was used to listening to. It was very soft and peaceful, and he was immediately happy because it relieved his tense heartstrings and suppressed emotions for many years. At this time, we had been slapping for two weeks, and I began to teach him to stretch. First, I stretched one leg for a few minutes while lying on the ground, and asked him to get up and walk around. He excitedly said that the leg that was just stretched and hurt was so comfortable. From then on, we stretched twice a day after slapping each other, that is, each person helped the other person to lift the leg and stretch the left and right legs twice. There was no sound of slapping when stretching, only beautiful music, and it was very quiet around us. It was a time we enjoyed very much. One day, we were stretching and listening to music, and Ellis knocked on the wall from the next door and shouted that he wanted me to talk to the window. It turned out that he was shouting loudly to announce the good news that he had slapped out “sha” (blockage).
After both stretching and slapping were used, Tuan had more and more Qi Chong lesions, because we extended the time of slapping each other to more than 3 hours. When he defecated, he expelled more frequent Qi Chong with loud and foamy sounds, and there were still many “sha” (blockage) on his thighs and calves during the second round of slapping, especially on the outer gallbladder meridian and stomach meridian. But because he was afraid of pain, the rule we naturally formed for slapping each other was that the person being slapped could stop at any time, so he was slapped less than half the time I was slapped. In order to avoid pain, he would rather slap me more, sometimes slapping a part for more than half an hour, and as long as I found a painful point, I would let him slap more despite the pain. As a result, another phenomenon appeared: his palms kept cracking, bleeding blisters, and then blood blisters were slapped and bleed. I told him that this was an excellent Qi Chong lesion, and I and all the slapping coaches had gone through this stage. And he slapped me and the bleeding places all over my body, so he was calm. But the problem was that his palms often couldn’t slap me because of pain and bleeding. At this time, I taught him to slap with the back of his hand and slap each other’s heads with fists. As a result, many lumps appeared on the side and back of our heads. By June 19, Tuan told me that his bowel movements were normal now. Although he still passed gas and “gas shit” when he defecated sometimes, he felt very comfortable physically and mentally after passing gas. More importantly, he no longer had to get up at night. He used to get up twice a night. Could it be that he had prostate disease in his thirties?
I said that this showed that many meridians related to urinary system and reproduction, such as bladder, kidney, liver, etc., were opened up. He then told me that he suspected that his reproductive system was sick because he and his ex-girlfriend had never gotten pregnant. Later, after breaking up with his girlfriend, his girlfriend got pregnant very quickly with her new boyfriend. I said that you have the problem of getting up at night at such a young age, which proves that the urinary system is indeed sick. Since PL has resolved this disease, the fertility problems related to it will definitely improve. But you can only verify this yourself in the future. From your improved gastrointestinal and waking up at night problems, you can see that you don’t need to worry about these diseases, you just need to open up the meridians, and it will automatically complete the diagnosis and self-heal after the Qi flows smoothly. If his Qi hadn’t rushed to the lesion, I wouldn’t know that he had gastrointestinal disease. If he hadn’t told me that he no longer had to get up at night, I wouldn’t have known that he had this problem.
A few days later, he developed a rare Qi Chong lesion. When I slapped his right leg, I slapped the outer ankle and the area below, and there was “sha” (blockage) on both sides. But then he found that the outer ankle of his left foot, which had not been slapped, also had “sha” (blockage), and the area was also at the ankle bone and below. The symmetrical “sha” (blockage) clinically verified the principle of traditional Chinese medicine: like qi attracts like. That is, the same meridians will seek help, interact, and resonate with each other, and thus heal themselves. This is where the gallbladder meridian and bladder meridian are located. It is consistent with the serious “sha” (blockage) on these two meridians on his legs. He has more confidence in slapping.
Then I slapped his hips, buttocks, and outer thighs for the second time, and a lot of “sha” (blockage) appeared again, but I increased the force of the slapping, and he began to have black urine. When I slapped his feet, a lot of black “sha” (blockage) appeared on his instep, toes, inner ankle, and outer ankle, and he had even darker urine. I slapped each foot for one day, and the state of Qi rush was the same. The third time I slapped the inner side of his calf, he had “sha” (blockage) all over again, but I increased the force of the slapping. During this time, the duty officer kept opening the doors and windows to ask us what we were doing, and every time he answered: doing Tai Chi exercises. Then everything was fine.
When we slapped each other on the outside of the right arm, we used three palms to slap each elbow. During these six palms, a lot of “sha” (blockage) appeared, and there were many large lumps. This time, it took nearly 5 hours in total. After the slapping, we stretched, ate, and taught English. The situation was the same when we slapped the left arm. We slapped each other for 6 rounds, which took 4 hours in total. By June 30, we had been slapping each other for a month, and basically completed two rounds of slapping on the limbs. At this time, I had started the trial. I went out early and came back late for a whole month, but we still slapped each other for 1-2 hours in the evening. On July 5, we first slapped our heads and faces for about an hour, and then slapped each other on the head with fists. When he was slapped on the side of his head, he suddenly stopped, saying that his heart was in great pain, but he was not in shock. So we let him rest for a while, and he had black urine, which was reddish coffee color, and then everything returned to normal. There was no need to appear in court for two days on the weekend, so we slapped each other’s shoulders and scapulas to address his heart problem. He was in great pain and “sha” (blockage) appeared after just a light slap, and he stopped in less than ten minutes each time, which shows the severity of his heart and lung meridian blockage. When it was my turn to pat, I would pat for more than 30 minutes. When I encountered painful areas, I would pat more and more, and a lot of “sha” (blockage) came out. So he took the initiative to extend the patting time, and a lot of “sha” (blockage) came out. He had the habit of coughing loudly every morning, which showed that in addition to the heart, there were also problems with the lungs. He said that this symptom had existed for several years. He saw the accuracy of patting diagnosis.
In mid-July, when he was doing the massage on his chest, back, and abdomen, he stopped after less than 5 minutes because it was not only painful, but also caused discomfort to his internal organs. But even so, he still had a lot of “sha” (blockage) on his chest and back. Although only red “sha” (blockage) appeared on his abdomen, he was already in so much pain that he had to stop quickly. Cardiopulmonary problems and gastrointestinal diseases all show unbearable qi rushing to the lesions when the trunk is massaged, which is consistent with the “sha” (blockage) appearing when the limbs are massaged.
On July 19, I adjourned the court in the afternoon. After returning to the room, we started slapping. After slapping of our heads and faces for an hour, we slapped each other’s heads with our fists. Just like last time, he felt a huge pain when slapping his head, and it caused extreme heart pain. His face turned pale and he could not sit or stand steadily. The symptoms were more serious than last time. I slapped his left elbow immediately. It was extremely painful and black “sha” (blockage) appeared, but the heart pain was immediately relieved. This was his second heart attack. Black “sha” (blockage) appeared when slapping the heart, pericardium, and lung meridians, showing the severity of the blockage. He had previously doubted that he had heart disease, but he was finally convinced.
Later, we repeatedly slapped the painful parts, such as the shoulder blades, the outside of the arms, the hands, and the feet. Again, a lot of “sha” (blockage) appeared, but the slapping force was increased. Especially when we slapped the feet, a large turtle-back-shaped blue bag appeared on the instep of his feet, and he immediately had urine. When we slapped the head with our palms, it was not easy to get a bag, but when we switched to slapping with fists, it immediately hurt a lot, and there were bags on the side of the head and forehead. The third time we slapped the gallbladder and stomach meridians on the outside of the thighs from the hips to the knees, he still had a lot of black “sha” (blockage) bags, but I slapped harder.
We continued to do this until August 8. That night, we slapped each other’s backs and ribs. When we slapped the lower half of his ribs, he suddenly felt stuffy and uncomfortable in his heart, had difficulty breathing, and almost fainted. The symptoms were more serious than the last time. I immediately slapped his right elbow vigorously, and sure enough, a lot of black “sha” (blockage) appeared, and the symptoms were immediately resolved. This was the third time that the heart disease qi rushed to the lesion, and it was resolved by slapping the elbow again. At this time, he was more convinced that his heart disease was real. So in order to treat heart disease, I finally decided to slap each other’s armpits and the inside of the entire arm the next day. Sure enough, he felt great pain when slapping, and stopped in less than 10 minutes, but a lot of “sha” (blockage) appeared. When it was his turn to slap me, I reluctantly let him slap vigorously for 40 minutes, and as a result, black spots of “sha” (blockage) oozed out of the deep red “sha” (blockage). Seeing that I was reluctant to slap and “sha” (blockage) appeared, he decided to slap his armpits and the inside of his upper arm again, and sure enough, a lot of black “sha” (blockage) and lumps appeared. The two of us slapped for about four hours in one go. The next day, I slapped the other armpit and the inside of the arm, and the situation was the same. He is only in his early thirties, but his heart disease is so serious!
The next day he told me that he slept till dawn yesterday and it only took him about 20 minutes to fall asleep, which used to take him one and a half to two hours. I told him the story of my cellmate in Australia, Su. He had difficulty falling asleep like Tuan, but his symptoms were relieved after slapping (Mr. Su’s case was shared in the clinical report on colorectal disease). After we broke up, he stopped slapping. I said that his heart disease had not been resolved, but it was hard for him to believe it. Two years later, he wrote to me and told me that he went to the hospital for a checkup because of chest pain one day, and he had a stent operation, and two stents were installed immediately.
We continued to slap each other every day. On August 18, when we were slapping his abdomen, Tuan suddenly felt dizzy and almost fainted. Why hasn’t the heart disease been resolved yet? I immediately slapped his left elbow vigorously, not only did black ink-like “sha” (blockage) appear, but also the skin broke and bled. The same happened when I slapped his right elbow. The “sha” (blockage) this time was darker than the previous times, and the skin broke and bled, proving that a deeper and more serious meridian blockage was resolved. A young man who was considered healthy by both his doctor and him had four heart attacks in more than two months of slapping and stretching, and each time was more serious than the last. This is worth our deep thought. That day, when I was stretching after the slapping, I turned on the radio. The cell was extremely quiet, and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9: From the New World was playing. We were really relaxed and happy, and we really felt the joy and tranquility of arriving in the New World.
Some parts were slapped for the third or fourth time, and the force of slapping was gradually increased, but the “sha” (blockage) was less. But on September 12, he developed a HC on his head and face. After slapping his head, a lump appeared. There was a linear pain band from the left side of his head that extended to his left face and left teeth. The left teeth were the bad teeth and holes that had tortured him for many years. In addition to pain and tightness, there was also numbness. His heart disease is related to neurodegenerative diseases and stroke. A man in his early thirties has such symptoms. What will happen in the future? I asked him, do you think these symptoms will disappear automatically? He said, of course they will only get worse, because if it weren’t for the slapping, he would not have known that these symptoms existed. This shows a huge advantage of slapping: using HC in advance to find and resolve potential diseases. So, he slapped the entire focus directly and quickly resolved the symptoms.
In addition to daily PL, his meditation has also improved. At first, we meditated in the morning and evening, and later we added meditation after each self-portrait. In addition to his increasingly relaxed mood, his body also showed good feedback. I only taught him to focus on the navel chakra when meditating, which is the navel, and it is easy to find. After each meditation, he felt his stomach warm and slightly moved, and his whole body felt light. We also attended the Buddhist study class every Wednesday, the main content of which was that everyone learned to meditate with the Buddhist teacher, and he felt better. In addition, daily English teaching continued as usual. Although his pronunciation was still not good, he had no problem communicating with his cellmates and the officer on duty, which further alleviated his depression symptoms. We both knew that we would not have much time to spend together, because we would go our separate ways immediately after the trial, so whether learning PL or English, we were racing against time. He had a big wish, which was to use PL to cure his mother’s colon cancer and diabetes after returning home. Because he gradually understood that the name of the disease was not important, the key was to open the meridians. I said that if you use slapping to heal one disease, then curing 100 diseases is the same thing: it is just opening up the meridians. However, he has never come across any clinical experience of helping people to heal themselves by slapping.
But the opportunity soon presented itself. On September 20, I was patting the back of my hand in the courtyard, and a white old man pushing a wheelchair came over to ask about PL. I explained briefly, and he said he was willing to try. He had a stroke, and his entire right side was not able to move properly. He showed me his right hand, which could only be clenched into a fist, and his fingers could not be extended. I patted the back of his hand for a few minutes, and immediately black toad-skin-like “sha” (blockage) appeared, and his palm immediately stretched out. He was overjoyed, and immediately invited me to his room to pat his right knee for a few minutes, and black “sha” (blockage) appeared, and his mobility immediately increased. The reason why he was interested in oriental natural therapies was that he had practiced karate for more than 30 years. I told him that Qi can be used for fighting, but it can also be used for healing and gave him a bunch of PL cases in English.
Two days later, I took Tuan to his room to do a slapping exercise, mainly to give Tuan a clinical internship opportunity. Before the slapping exercise, I asked the patient to raise his right arm, but it was not even horizontal. Then I asked him to bend his forearm inward, but he could hardly move. I asked Tuan to slap his right shoulder, and I slapped his right elbow. We slapped for about 10 minutes, and he was in pain and black “sha” (blockage) came out. In fact, we used very light force, but gradually increased the force. After the slapping exercise, I asked him to raise his arm, and his hand was higher than his head. He was overjoyed because this problem made his daily life extremely inconvenient. Then I asked him to stretch and flex his forearm, and the range of motion had increased several times. Tuan was also happy to see the results of his slapping exercise. The next day, the patient told me that he usually felt a stinging pain in his lungs when he took a deep breath. After the doctor examined him, he said that there was an old scar in his lungs, but he could not resolve it. I didn’t expect that just slapping his shoulder and elbow would resolve the stubborn disease. This is another good lesson for Tuan: just open up the meridians and known and unknown diseases will be resolved naturally. You don’t have to worry about diagnosis, disease names and treatment details, because the self-healing power comes from the Creator and is shared by everyone.
Although Tuan had his own experience of self-healing through PL, he still doubted what I often said that illness comes from the heart, especially since his heart disease was so serious, what was the cause? I said that before you came to Area C, you were depressed and almost crazy, your mood was bad, and your heart meridian must be blocked. He felt it made sense, but he didn’t dare to believe it completely. Soon, the opportunity to verify it came. On September 24, he came back from seeing a lawyer and was depressed again. He didn’t want to talk or do La. He only told me: The lawyer said the case was more serious than I thought before. Then he went to bed after dinner, although he tossed and turned and couldn’t sleep. The next day we attended a Buddhist class and came back from meditation. I asked him if he had recovered from the depression yesterday. He replied that he had not fully recovered yet, because his stomach was cold and his thoughts were confused when he was meditating. The warm and dynamic feeling in his abdomen when he was meditating was gone. His whole body was very tense and he had no appetite for food. I said that this was the impact of the heart disease’s qi rushing to the lesion on the heart and the whole body, and he nodded repeatedly.
In the following days, he had problems sleeping again. In addition to continuing to film and chat, we also had more heart-to-heart talks, especially about my experience in prison for seven years. The key is that he not only listened to me, but also spent every day with me, seeing my mental state and busy pace. What impressed him most was that after I came back from the court after being found guilty that day, I watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics with him, just like coming home from work, and then slapped my head and face for an hour as usual, and then taught him English and corrected his homework. What surprised him most was that I fell asleep as soon as I lay down on the pillow after sitting. He asked why you were not depressed? I said you should just not take it seriously. At least you should not take the world too seriously. Because he believes in Buddhism, I said that the Buddhist scriptures say that everything in the world is a dream, do you believe it? He said yes. So why do you take the world so seriously every time you encounter a problem? He laughed! I said again, you diagnosed and cured your heart disease in prison, learned to slap and stretch, and learned basic English conversation. Aren’t these all blessings brought by prison? He laughed even more brightly. Yes, you don’t have to change the world, you just must change your perspective on it.
On September 30, he went to court for trial and returned at around 7pm. He was obviously in a low mood, but he still slapped me for an hour. I said that since you met with the lawyer, you have been in a bad mood, so the influence of the mind on the heart will be reflected in the heart meridian and pericardium meridian. In the past, I slapped the elbow pits for several heart attacks. This time, I changed to slap Neiguan, above the wrist. Although it is difficult to produce “sha” (blockage) due to multiple slapping, the heart meridian and pericardium meridian must be blocked again due to the influence of the mind. This can only be verified by clinical slapping. Sure enough, large patches of blue bag-like “sha” (blockage) appeared on both sides of his Neiguan, which were much more serious than the “sha” (blockage) last time. This time he had a deeper experience of the disease coming from the mind.
The next day he came back from court, and without saying anything, he went back to bed. At this time, the officer on duty suddenly opened the door, told him to get up, and said that the nurse came to ask him to see a psychiatrist. I asked him what happened, and he said that after he came back from court, the nurse briefly asked him about it. Because he was in a bad mood and had trouble communicating in English, the nurse thought he might want to commit suicide. At this time, I translated for him and the nurse. The nurse asked him clearly whether he wanted to commit suicide or hurt himself. He clearly told her no, and the nurse was relieved and said that he didn’t need to see a psychiatrist. On the third day, he returned from court again in the evening. This time, I had a long talk with him, and stopped the PL. This conversation was also to open the meridians.
I asked him how he felt about appearing in court these days. He said he was tired and nervous, and even more tired than when he worked 12 hours a day in Germany and Singapore. I said, doesn’t this just prove the principle that illness originates from the mind? The time spent in court is generally about 5 hours, and the rest of the time is spent in the cage. But whether in the cage or in the court, people’s minds are constantly turning. Facing the possible conviction and sentence in the future, it is difficult to have any positive and optimistic thoughts in the mind. Negative thoughts will continue to repeat and intensify, making the whole-body tense and tired, and the meridians are blocked. This shows that the mind has the greatest impact on the whole body. However, since illness originates from the mind and the mind is the cause of the disease, it is obvious that the disease can only be cured by the mind. At this time, no matter how good the effect of slapping and stretching to open the meridians is, it cannot resist the thought of the mind. Slapping and stretching alone is not enough to cure the mind and adjust the mind. The patient must also change his mind, that is, change the entire thought system.
To put it bluntly, you must change your view of the world, people, and things. You don’t need to change the world and others, but you can change your view of the world, others, and yourself. Besides, people who study Buddhism often say that Buddha is in their hearts, and people who believe in God often say that God is in their hearts. Why don’t they look for it in their hearts when it comes to critical moments, but pray to God from the outside? Of course, living in the world, you must follow the procedures of the world, use lawyers and defend yourself as you should, and eat, drink, defecate and urinate as usual. Just don’t take the world too seriously. The more you take it seriously, the more depressed you will be. The main task of our reincarnation into this world is to change our hearts. To practice his English, I also said in English that the most important thing is to keep your mind. As for this world, it doesn’t exist at all!
Such a magical talk could not immediately resolve Tuan’s mental illness, but it did alleviate a lot. This also proves that it is not enough to heal Tuan by just slapping and stretching. Only by resolving the mental illness can it be truly healed. To be precise, slapping and stretching are only to pave the way for self-healing of the mind. Therefore, the best effect of slapping and stretching is not to improve the symptoms of physical illness, but to encourage people to enter the spiritual state as soon as possible, and to upgrade from focusing on the body to focusing on the mind and eternity. Because only the mind is real life and is eternal. I told Tuan that although we are prisoners, isn’t it better to be a happy prisoner than a depressed prisoner? Tuan laughed again!
Tuan adjourned the court for the next two days and waited until the next Monday to go to court to hear the jury’s verdict. He wanted to rest for a few days for himself, but he was happy to slap me. I readily agreed. He slapped me for four months, and his hands were full of energy and his technique was very good. On Friday, he slapped my head for an hour, mainly with his palms and supplemented with fists. There were still pain points in the temples and the back of my head. On Saturday, he slapped my head vigorously for two hours, mainly with his fists. The pain increased significantly, and there were lumps on the side and back of my head. After the slapping, I had very thick black urine. On Sunday, he slapped my head for another three hours, 80% of which was with his fists. It hurt so much that I was sweating all over, but I still gritted my teeth and persisted. Because the lumps and “sha” (blockage) from the slapping yesterday had not disappeared, it was more painful, and the lumps were bigger. I immediately had another reddish-brown urine. This was the longest and most forceful slapping I had ever done on my head. It was also the last clinical demonstration I gave Tuan: When the mindset changes, the attitude towards pain changes.
The next day, Tuan went to court and never came back. This three-hour clinical experiment of patting the head vigorously turned out to be our farewell gift to each other. Tuan was originally afraid of patting the head because it was very painful and caused heartache and dizziness several times. So, do you think that fear of patting the head is a heart disease or a heart disease? Or both? If so, which is the cause and which is the effect?
A week later, I received a letter from Tuan informing me that he had been released and regained his freedom. While I was wishing him well, I also had a question: his heart disease and a bunch of complications were contracted in the “free world” outside the prison, and then diagnosed and improved in the “unfree world” inside the prison. Now that he is free, will his old illness relapse? Has his heart disease completely healed itself? Will he repeat the mistakes of my other cellmate, Asu?
Obviously, all this depends on his thoughts, ideas, which come from his heart, not his heart or head.

Discussion: During the four months of doing PL with Tuan, I kept clinical experimental records every day. Although this report mainly talks about PL clinical practice and HC, we are in a state of communication every day when we are together, that is, we unconsciously talk to each other, set an example, and encourage each other. Otherwise, it would be difficult to continue such strong and long-term PL. It is also because of this that Tuan’s deeply hidden heart disease was revealed and improved. This kind of physical and mental state is common among young people who fight for survival every day.
While Tuan and I were slapping and stretching each other, we saw two celebrities on TV who died of sudden heart attacks. One was a sports star, and the other was Michael Mosley, a famous medical program host. I have watched many programs hosted by this doctor, including various self-healing methods related to diet, fasting, and exercise. He also talked about various symptoms such as insomnia, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, etc., but the causes of these diseases are not clear, because Western medicine does not have the concept of meridian blockage. I used his sudden death to discuss the cause of heart disease with Tuan. He went walking in the mountains during his vacation and disappeared, which triggered media reports. His body was found somewhere in the mountains a few days later. All sudden deaths are sudden heart attacks, but most people don’t know they have heart disease at all, because they can’t use slapping on the elbow pit to diagnose heart disease in advance. Tuan is one of them. The media reports mostly about the sudden death of celebrities, while many ordinary people’s sudden deaths are only known to relatives and friends. Tuan immediately cited two people he knew who also died suddenly without knowing that they had heart disease. It was this kind of real-life case discussion and his own four heart attacks that deepened his understanding of latent heart disease.
However, it is more difficult to understand the cause of heart disease. It was only through discussions and exchanges with him about his depression and resentment that he gained a deeper understanding of the disease of the soul, that is, the problem of thought. And this is obviously where the power of PL is insufficient. Even if PL opens the meridians, a person’s negative emotions can immediately cause more and deeper blockages in the meridians. Everyone should have a deep understanding of its power and persistence. This is why I have always advocated mutual PL as well as self PL, and participation in PL experience camps, because in mutual PL, there is spiritual sharing and communication, and everyone can see their own shadows in each other’s thoughts, experiences and symptoms, so they can deepen their understanding of the disease caused by the heart. And the only way to cure heart disease is to enter spiritual practice.
Being in prison is a special environment that makes one’s body physically unfree. But this does not hinder the freedom of the mind. In a sense, being in prison is like a kind of forced retreat or vacation, forcing you to stop your usual habits and change to a new lifestyle. Whether this is a blessing, or a curse depends on one’s thoughts. We cannot change the world, but we can change our view of the world. People live to experience life and constantly change their worldview, rather than changing the world.
Tuan’s imprisonment was a retreat for spiritual practice. It can also be said that he used the opportunity of imprisonment to conduct a clinical experiment, in which heart disease and various complications were discovered and improved. After he was released from prison, it was like starting another clinical experiment. If he was still in prison, we would still slap his head, armpits, hands, feet, etc., which are the parts that are still painful and produce “sha” (blockage) every time we slap them. His symptoms of coughing up phlegm every morning have not been resolved. If we slap his chest and back, he will still feel pain and produce “sha” (blockage). There will be more sharing in our hearts.
Will he continue to practice slapping after he gets out? Will he be able to use slapping to cure his mother’s illness as he wishes? It depends on his mind.
I look forward to his new clinical report. I am eager to see if he has changed his mind. In my last communication with him, I often said in English:
Have you changed your mind?
