Lajin and Paida Cured My Stroke Sequelae, Lower Back and Leg Pain, Neck Pain

[:en]

Zhu Jinming: Male, age 77, a retired railway employee from Henan Province.

Mr. Zhu had a stroke in 2007. He was hospitalized for a month and a half. The stroke left him sequalae such as: immobilization of his right leg (he could have small and slow steps with the help of a cane); stiff back and legs (he could neither bend nor squat); nocturnal calf cramps, cold legs and insomnia. He put on heavy pants in September. He lived on the second floor of a building. Because he could not climb any stair, he had to stay at the door keeper’s little room at night.

On September 26, 2010, I introduced Lajin and Paida to him. I explained the theory of E-Dao and showed him the techniques. He happily accepted what I told him. In that small room where he currently stayed, we used five chairs to set up a place where he could feel safe and comfortable to do the stretching. When Mr. Zhu lay down, he was on three of the five chairs, but the extra space made him feel secure. I carried his right leg first on my shoulder and put my hands on his right knee and slowly raised his leg. In the beginning, his leg could only be raised to about a 40-degree angle. Mr. Zhu had a strong will. He signaled me to raise his leg higher. My younger brother pressed down on Mr. Zhu’s left leg. We continued this raising one leg and pressing down the other until the right leg was raised to about a 60-80-degree angle. After 15 minutes, we let go of his legs and he stood up and walked a few steps. He said his leg felt more flexible and less stiff. He asked us to stretch his left leg. After 15 minutes, we let go of his legs again. This time, we ask him not to use the cane when he walked. He was so worried about falling down that he could not move his legs. We encouraged him and he did. He walked three small circles in that little room. Then he squatted. He did it. He was so happy he could squat that he did it 32 times. I tried to stop him from exhausting himself, but he would not stop.

His face was full of sweat, but he was so happy. He said the leg cramp was gone and his leg felt longer. He said he now saw hope of a full recovery. Then he started to cry. I cried along with him.

We began the Paida. I slapped the back of his knees and his elbows. He said he didn’t mind the pain because it’s good for him.

The next morning, Mr. Zhu was very excited to tell every neighbor about his previous day’s success. He also said his leg felt warm again. He could squat to use the restroom again after three years (he prefers squatting than sitting position).

When we saw how effective Lajin was for Mr. Zhu, even when we did not use the standard Lajin bench, my brother and I decided that we were going to help twenty people and become “Health Ambassadors” of E-Dao. My brother began to build a stretching bench. It was completed on October 1. It was raining during that time and the rain slowed him down a bit. On October 2, we used the Lajin bench for Mr. Zhu. Each of his leg stretched less than ten minutes. His shoulders could not touch the bench. So we pressed down on those shoulders. We tied his right leg on the pole at the end of the bench and hung sandbags on his left leg. Mr. Zhu laughed and teased us of using the “tiger bench” on him (“tiger bench” was a bench for prisoners to force them to talk).

On Oct 3, he said he could lie on his back at night now. Because of his neck issue, he used to use three pillows during sleep. Last night, he got rid of two pillows.

On Oct 5, he said he could control his urination and no longer wet his pants or bed. His stomach didn’t bother him anymore after meals. He had normal bowel movement and insomnia was gone.

As of Oct 12, Mr. Zhu’s lower back and leg pain, neck pain, frozen shoulder, prostatitis, constipation and insomnia were all cured. In addition to the above mentioned improvements, he could walk without a cane for more than one kilometer. He told everyone about E-Dao, Lajin and Paida. He also introduced us five patients who had similar issues as his.

He voluntarily filled up E-Dao’s health form and left us a copy of his ID for anyone who wants to verify his story. He also hoped that by sharing his story, more people would enjoy the benefit of E-Dao.

Mr. Zhu believes in what E-Dao advocates “My health, I manage!”.
